WCDSS Benefits

• Health
  • Major medical benefits are provided by BCBSNC at no cost to the employee.  Immediate family members may be insured at employee’s expense.  Benefits are effective the 1^st of the month following 30 days of employment.
• Dental
  • The County contributes $5 toward the cost of optional dental insurance.  Immediate family members may be added to the plan at employee expense.
• Vision
  • Vision insurance is available to all employees.  Employees are responsible for paying cost of premium.
• Optional Insurances
  • Life/Accident/Cancer/Disability insurances are available to all employees.  Employees are responsible for paying the cost of premium.
