AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY

Meets the first and third Monday, 7-9pm at Wilson Medical Center in the Cafe Court Room.

Man-to-Man - This support group is for prostate cancer survivors, and their families, it focuses on informed decision-making and patient education.

NEED, INC.

Information and referral. Works with other community organizations to help coordinate social activities. Provides limited transportation and childcare aid. Provides home repairs on a limited basis. REGION L COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS

Regional planning and contracting for aging services in Wilson and area counties. Services contracted include supportive services such as adult day care, chore, home health, home improvement and repairs, homemaker-home health aide, information and referral, health promotion, legal respite care, senior center operations, senior center development, and home delivered meals. Other areas are wellness programs such as senior games, pre-retirement planning, leadership support for Alzheimer's Disease support groups. The Regional Long Term Ombudsman Program is administered by this agency. This is an advocacy program for residents of nursing and domiciliary homes. SALVATION ARMY
