Welcome to the Wilson County Mapping office. The Mapping Department has existed since 1980. We use a complex, intelligent mapping system called a Graphic Information System, or GIS.
Maps are maintained in sections called layers. Each layer contains information about something specific, such as utility lines. Another contains a map of the storm sewer system. Another layer contains topographic information.

The mapping department can even help you find the ownership of property by the property address. Maps can be purchased at the mapping office during business hours.
