Public Health is meant to maintain good health for the citizens of the County and the good health status of a community. The professional staff of the Health Department are here to assess conditions in the community and to assure the highest quality of health status possible for all the citizens.

Services Provided
We invite all citizens to visit the Wilson County Health Department to become familiar with the services of the department and to seek care from its staff of highly-trained professionals.

**If you would like to report a public health or environmental health emergency during the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday-Friday, please call (252)237-3141.  If you need to report an emergency after regular business hours please call 911 emergency services.

**If you are a Home Health patient and have an after hours medical emergency please dial the on call number (252) 237-4335 and follow the detailed instructions provided in the message.
