Federal Benefits for Veterans Dependents and Survivors

Many military personnel leave the service unaware of their VA benefits or of the scope and availability of a multitude of benefits for which they may qualify.

If you, or your spouse, served in the active military, naval, or air service and was discharged or released under conditions others than dishonorable, you and/or your spouse may qualify for VA health care benefits.

Step 1:    Locate or obtain your DD214

Step 2:    If you have a DD214, arrange to have your County Clerk of Court register the document.

Step 3:    Arrange to talk with your County Service Officer/Veterans Service Officer.

If you do not have or cannot locate your DD214, arrange to meet with your County Service Officer/Veterans Service Office who will assist you in obtaining the document.
