Plan Requirements
Guidelines for Submitted Plans
Plans must show or indicate the following:
  • Length, width, and height of the structure
  • Intended size, spacing, grade, and species of all framing members (eg. #2 - 2x10 Southern Yellow Pine @ 16” on center) - this would be for floor and ceiling joists, rafters, headers, girders, studs, etc.
  • The engineer’s and/or manufacturer’s design data and installation instructions must be provided if engineered building components such as LVLs, trusses, I-joists, etc. are to be used
    • If you are not able to provide this information at the time of permit application then it must be provided prior to scheduling the rough-in and framing inspections
