Lodging establishments consist of hotels, motels, bed and breakfast inns / homes, and other establishments that provide lodging for pay.

Inspections are performed to ensure the proper sanitation of the facility inspected. Some of the items checked include room cleanliness, proper lighting, hot water temperatures, furniture condition, pest presence, proper waste disposal, and cleanliness of ice buckets.

Also, those establishments serving food will be inspected to ensure the proper guidelines are being followed and food is not being prepared or cooked by the facility without a food service permit.
