Voter Registration Guidelines and Procedures
You may register to vote in Wilson County if you are:
  • A citizen of the United States
  • 18 years of age or older
  • A resident of Wilson County for 30 days by the date of the next election
  • A person convicted of a felony when citizenship rights have been restored

You need to complete a voter registration application only if you:
  • Have not previously registered in Wilson County
  • Have changed your name
  • Wish to change your party affiliation
  • Have been placed in an inactive voter registration file
  • Have moved within Wilson County since you registered. You must change your address prior to the registration deadline (25 days before each election)
