The Wilson County Community Health Assessment is a document for improving and promoting the health and well being of the
community members. The role of community health assessment is to identify factors that affect the health of a population and
determine the availability of resources within the community to adequately address these factors.
The information gathered from the surveys can be used to apply for grants, receive additional state funds for the county and
also it can be a tool for recruiting new industries to the county to name a few.
