This web site is designed to provide information about Wilson County finances.

The Wilson County Finance Department functions under the NC Local Government Budget and Fiscal Control Act.

The Finance office collects and disburses all funds of Wilson County in compliance with N.C. General Statutes and the county's budget ordinance. Wilson County's fixed assets and inventory are maintained in the finance office and are updated as needed.

All reserve funds are invested by the finance director in compliance with G.S. 159-30.

All accounts payable, purchase orders, accounts receivable, and payroll for all county employees are processed in this office. Wilson County employees are paid once a month through direct deposit.
