Wilson County Department of EMS is the primary ambulance and paramedic level emergency provider for Wilson County. EMS has 60 + technicians responding to an average of 24 calls per day. The EMS system is also supported by several other organizations that backup, provide, and augment emergency medical care. The Department also serves as the administrative agency for Ambulance Franchises and First Responder Coordination.
