What We Provide

We provide regular prenatal care to eligible women of Wilson County. This service includes regular check-ups and screenings for specific pregnancy-related problems. Because life is so precious, our goal is to provide quality prenatal care to all clients and to help ensure the healthiest pregnancy possible for the delivery of a healthy baby.

Prenatal Care

Prenatal care starts with you in the maternity clinic at the Wilson County Health Department. You should begin prenatal care as early as possible. If you think you might be pregnant, call today for an appointment.

Call the Wilson County Health Department at 252-237-3141 if you have problems or questions. Our hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. If we are not open, go to the emergency room.

Our Staff

Women attending our prenatal clinic are served by a team of caring professionals, including Registered Nurses, Certified Nurse Midwife and Family Nurse Practitioners. An Ob-Gyn physician is available for consultation and clients are referred to them as needed.
