I would like to take this opportunity to personally welcome you to the Wilson County Community Website. Wilson County is a community of people whose lives have symbolized growth and development.

As a young boy, I remember coming into town with my family and seeing a magnificent rooster sitting high atop the water tower. The rooster was part of the "Wide Awake Wilson" campaign sponsored by the Central Business District. We have come full circle in our endeavors to "Awaken" Wilson.
