SEPTEMBER LIBRARY PROGRAMS ANNOUNCED

Wilson County Public library has released a list of upcoming programs offered to the public this September at the Main Library.

For children, early literacy programs will continue at the Main Library every Wednesday and Thursday morning.  Children ages birth through 2 are invited to join the 9:30 a.m. program.  Preschool age children are invited to join the 10:00 a.m. program.

On Thursday, September 7 and 14 at 4:00 p.m., teens are invited to come and take part in Teens CreateIt! Clay Leaf Bowls in the conference room.   
On Tuesday, September 19 at 6 p.m., the library will host Teen Movie Night and will be showing Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
On Thursday, September 28 at 4 p.m. teens are invited to come and take part in Got Teen Space? A program to help develop a new teen space at the main library.

An Introduction to Computers course will be offered in the conference room every Wednesday in September from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. This cumulative course will require prior enrollment and commitment to attend all four classes.  Contact Mark at 252-237-5355 ext. 5074 to enroll.

Adults are invited to pre-register for two career classes to be held in the Conference Room in September. On Thursday, September 7 at 1 p.m., Coping with Unemployment and on Thursday, September 21 at 1:00 p.m., Career Planning.

On Wednesday, September 27 at 6 p.m. and again on Thursday, September 28 at 2 p.m. in the assembly room, adults are invited to participate in a Craft Program.

Black Creek:  Storytime- Thursday, September 7 and Thursday, September 21 at 4:00 p.m.
Lapsit- Wednesday, September 27, at 10:30 a.m.

East Branch: Storytime- Wednesday, September 13 and Wednesday, September 27 at 4:00 p.m.

Elm City: Early Literacy Storytime- Tuesday, September 12 and Tuesday, September 26 at 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Teen Programs- “Wave in a Bottle” on Thursday, September 14 at 4:00 p.m.

Lucama:  Story Time- Tuesday, September 5 and Tuesday, September 19 at 4:00 p.m.
Lapsit- Wednesday, September 6 and Wednesday, September 20 at 10:30 a.m.

Teen programs- Thursday, September 7 and Thursday, September 21 at 4:00 p.m.

Stantonsburg: Book Chat- Thursday, September 7 at 3:00 p.m.

Bookmobile: Tuesday, 9/12 – Saratoga 3:30 – 5:00

Wednesday, 9/13 – Rock Ridge 3:00 – 4:00 and Sims 4:15 – 5:00
