Now through April 11 Wilson County DSS' VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) staff are helping Wilson families save money. This is the 9th year that volunteers are busy providing free tax preparation services for low-to-moderate income families in our community.

The DSS VITA site has specific goals to provide outreach and education to working families about the Earned Income Tax Credit and Child Tax Credit and to continue the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance site to provide free tax preparation for families with income levels $51,000 or less.

Services will take place at the Career Plus office, 114 Pine St., NE, Wilson, NC.

Through April 11, 2013 (Customers are seen by appointment only.)

Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
