Health Department Clinic Service Changes
 
On the last Friday of each month from 8-12 noon, the Health Department will be closed for mandatory training's, staff meetings and programmatic audits.  Regular clinical services will be offered from 1-5 pm.

All Clinic services are available by appointment Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, and Maternal Health Services are available by appointment on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8am-5pm.

Welcome to the Wilson County Health Department. This website is designed to inform the community of the available services. It will also post health concerns, notices, seasonal alerts, and other important information as necessary.

Public Health
Public Health is meant to maintain good health for the citizens of the County and the good health status of a community. The professional staff of the Health Department are here to assess conditions in the community and to assure the highest quality of health status possible for all the citizens.

Services Provided
We invite all citizens to visit the Wilson County Health Department to become familiar with the services of the department and to seek care from its staff of highly-trained professionals.

If you would like to report a public health or environmental health emergency during the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday-Friday, please call (252)237-3141.  If you need to report an emergency after regular business hours please call 911 emergency services.
