The Wilson County Board of Elections will be meeting on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 8:00 a.m. to discuss Early Voting dates and times.  The meeting will be held at the Wilson County Board of Elections office located at 112 Douglas St., E.

One-Stop Voting Locations

Wilson County Board of Elections office located at 112 Douglas Street beginning April 24, 2014. Weekday hours April 24 - May 2, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm; and Saturday, May 3 will be open 8:00 am - 1:00 pm. Miller Road County Office located at 2201 Miller Road beginning April 24, 2014. Weekday hours April 24 - May 2 will be 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the qualified voters of Wilson County that Democratic, Republican, Libertarian, Nonpartisan Primary Elections to elect Federal, State, and County offices will be held in said county on Tuesday, May 6, 2014. A Second Primary, if needed, will be held June 24, 2014 (if there is no second primary needed for a US House of Representatives contest) or July 15, 2014 (if there is a second primary needed for US House of Representatives contest.) The polls for said election will be open from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. Only voters registered with the Wilson County Board of Elections as affiliated with the Democratic Party may vote in the Democratic Primary. Only voters registered with the Wilson County Board of Elections as affiliated with the Republican Party may vote in the Republican Primary. Only voters registered with the Libertarian Party may vote in the Libertarian Party Primary. Unaffiliated voters may vote in the party primary of their choice or the non-partisan offices. All voters registered with the Wilson County Board of Elections are eligible to vote in this election. Voters who are already registered to vote need not re-register. Residents who are not registered to vote or those registered that need to make changes must do so by Friday, April 11, 2014, to be eligible to vote in this election. Request for voter registration application forms may be made from the Wilson County Board of Elections office, 112 Douglas St. E., between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. each Monday through Friday, and the Wilson County Public Library, 249 W. Nash St., Wilson, N. C., during regular hours. Application forms may also be obtained from the Town Halls in Black Creek, Elm City, Lucama, Saratoga, Sims, and Stantonsburg during their office hours. Any qualified voter may vote by absentee ballot. The voter may apply for an absentee ballot beginning March 17, 2014. The deadline for applying for an absentee ballot to be mailed to the voter is 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 29, 2014. The Board of Elections will meet at 8:00 a.m. April 15, April 22, April 29, and at 5:00 p.m. May 5, May 6, May 9, 2014 and other times as may be necessary for the purpose of approving absentee ballot applications. One-stop voting will be held in the multipurpose room of the Board of Elections office located at 112 Douglas St., E., Wilson, NC 27893, beginning Thursday, April 24th and ending Saturday, May 3rd. Hours are 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Saturday, May 3rd. Hours are 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Additional One-stop voting will be held at the Wilson County Office Building located at 2201 Miller Road, S., Wilson, NC 27893 beginning Thursday, April 24th and ending Friday, May 2nd. Hours are 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Canvass will be at 11:00 a.m. May 13, 2014 in the Board of Elections office.
