One-Stop Voting Location
Wilson County Board of Elections office located at 112 Douglas Street beginning October 17. Weekday hours October 17 - November 1, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; and November 2, 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.
Additional Information for November 5, 2013 ElectionNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the qualified voters of Black Creek, Elm City, Lucama, Saratoga, Sims, Stantonsburg and the City of Wilson City Council Districts 3, 5, 6, & 7 are eligible to vote in this election. Voters who are already registered to vote need not re-register. Residents who are not registered to vote or those registered that need to make changes must do so by Friday, October 11, 2013. Persons wishing to register and voter after the registration deadline may appear in person at a one-stop absentee voting location (listed above), complete the voter registration application form and provide proof of residence by presenting valid documents showing current name and address.
Any qualified voter may vote by absentee ballot. The voter may apply for an absentee ballot beginning October 6, 2013. The deadline for applying for an absentee ballot to be mailed to the voter is 5:00 pm, Tuesday, October 29, 2013.Ballot return deadline is November 4, 2013 at 5:00 pm.
