April Happenings

Advisory Council
The regular monthly meeting of the Advisory Council will be held on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 9:00 am in the kitchen.  The Advisory Council is an important part of the center.  The members help decide on new programs and activities at the center and help decide how we can better serve the seniors of Wilson County.  All members of the center are invited to attend these meetings.
Art Classes
Horace is feeling much better and was able to finish his 4 week session in March.  A new session began on March 25, 2015 and will last for 4 weeks.  People who were interested in taking the class, were contacted for this class.  If you have signed up, but not been contacted yet, you will be when the next session starts.  You need to be able to commit to 4 weeks of classes which are held every Wednesday from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm.  The new session schedule is as follows:  Class 1 -- March 25, 2015, no class on April 1, 2015; classes will be on April 8, 15, & 22, 2015.
Our monthly breakfast will be held on the last Tuesday of the month, April 28, 2015 beginning at 9:00 am in the kitchen.  We serve bacon, eggs, biscuits, grits, pastry and juice.  Please be sure to sign up so that we can have enough for all.
